This knitting book is wonderful with many lovely designs. Glad I purchased it and like all the knitted patterns.

Disappointed - 
I was really looking forward to this book. I wouldn't knit one sweater from it--very disappointed! The sweater on the front was wonderful, until I peeked inside. Only okay, not worth the $, I have already returned it.
Great follow-up to "Fitted Knits" -
I purchased this book several weeks back from Amazon and have started knitting the "Textured Shrug" pattern. This book is a great follow-up to Ms. Japel's first book "Fitted Knits." The same eye to silhouette and fit is present here in this second book. The patterns have a retro feel, albeit with a more modern look, and I am planning on knitting several more patterns from this book. The photography and styling are impressive. The only problem that I have with this book, if you can call it a problem, is that the pattern instructions are printed on colored background, which sometimes makes it hard to read the wording. Also, please note that there are minor errors in the "Fitted Shrug" pattern. A correction has been posted in the knitting group, Ravelry. Nonetheless, this is a great book with great patterns, and I highly recommend it.
Beautiful Collection -
The first time I flipped through Glam Knits I was so excited I couldn't even focus. It is a beautiful collection of garments. Studying some of the patterns I found they are constructed in a smart yet simple way, many from the top down. I am half way through the tweed jacket and am love love loving the pattern. If you are wondering whether this book should be in your collection, bottom line: yes!

Gorgeous, deceptively simple knits with FAB photography -
As a longtime Glampyre fan, I had high expectations for this book -- and it met them all! There are beautiful, practical knits that would flatter a wide range of shapes and sizes, knit in lovely (but not obscure, as the last review said) yarns and... I have to say it, the photos are amazing. I actually enjoyed curling up with this book just to look at the photos alone!
There are several patterns I'm already thinking of casting on (but deadlines = must wait, sigh!). FYI, the publisher appears to have put the same chart into the book twice but Japel already has errata posted to her site, so no worries. Love this book!
