a warm and fuzzy vocabulary list - 
If you are just thinking about starting a craft business, this book will give you some useful vocabulary. For anyone more advanced, it's a bust. But let me be fair: it isn't written for people who live online or those who have much experience with buying stuff on the web.
This is a list of things to do - get a name, register the name - but it lacks the specifics of how to do any of those things. She is a very gentle narrator: "it's OK to feel envious" of other people's work at craft shows she tell us.
I think the font and the shape are supposed to be gentle, too, but, sadly, they constitute what the Brits call "twee." Very.
There's nothing bad about what's here. It's what's not here that is the problem. There is nothing about Etsy, a very easy-to-use site for selling your crafts. Here it is mentioned in one testimonial and listed (without explanation) at the end under "Internet Resources" in a category called "communities." How anyone would know it's a site for craft-sellers is beyond me. And it's not in the very bare index.
If you are interested in selling your crafts, Etsy is the answer to most questions.
For Ms Ilasco, the internet, and all who sail in her, definitely = the back of the bus.

you just need it if you are starting your craft business.
Not Bad -
I found this book to be a quick read and full of useful information. It is mainly for the die hard crafter who would like to make a full time living crafting.I'm talking about people who would like to globalize or go corporate. I don't like the layout of the book and found the font hard to read (weird colors and small print). All in all, the book is not bad, but can't compete with the books by Barbara Brabec on the same topic.
NEVER RECEIVED MY BOOK! -
I placed my order, waited a month for the book to show up, and NOTHING. I contacted the "seller" and received NO response regarding the status of my order. I'm now trying to get my money back and have yet to see that either.... it's been almost two months. I would NEVER order from this seller again.

This is a great book to help artists and crafters understand what is needed to launch their creativity into a full-fledged business. Everything is covered from copyrighting and trademarking to marketing to forming a business to branding and even office supplies. There is also a very thorough and helpful section on maneuvering trade shows, cold calling, and internet presence for the start-up business. I found in launching my own creative business that the best way to use this book was in chunks and chapters as I went along in the establishment of my business, rather than reading it start to finish. I used this as a reference guide more than anything. An added plus: The design of the book makes this a pleasure to read and the size of it makes it great to carry in a tote or backpack for on-the-go meetings.
